To unlock Chaplain, earn the official Soldier’s Grace badge. Roblox’s public badge description lists four requirements: save 150 teammates from being grabbed, kill 75 Runners while they are pinning a teammate, obtain Vos Enterrement, and heal teammates more than 50 times as Surgeon. The badge unlocks Chaplain and the Cross Necklace.

Complete rescues through normal matches
Play near the formation, not at its edge. When a Shambler grabs a teammate, remove the enemy that is holding them and keep other zombies away from the rescuer. When a Runner tackles someone, the victim cannot solve the pin. Move immediately, use a clean melee angle, or take a safe firearm shot if distance prevents a rescue.
The Runner requirement is specific: the enemy must be pinning a teammate. Saving players is more reliable in Objective holdouts and Endless once Runners are present, but the best map is one you can survive consistently. Do not let a teammate be tackled on purpose; a second enemy or delayed hit can kill them and end the run.
Earn Vos Enterrement
Vos Enterrement is the official San Sebastián sacrifice badge. Near the finale, Barry’s platform sequence fails and one player must reach the winch to lower the platform for the remaining survivors. The winch operator cannot join the escape. At least one teammate must complete the escape for the sacrifice to produce the intended team result.
Tell the group before climbing. If multiple players rush the winch, the team loses defenders and may confuse who is taking the condition. Read the San Sebastián walkthrough before attempting it so you can preserve health and supplies for the final platform and beach holdouts.
Finish the Surgeon heals
Select Surgeon and stay behind the active line. Watch for players who have taken real damage and move them into a protected space. Healing during a spawn surge risks both players. Sapper fortifications and a designated recovery corner make the task safer.
The official description says “over 50 times,” so plan to exceed 50 rather than stopping at the number shown in an unofficial counter. Do not confuse a placed bandage source or a Chaplain Blessing with the specific Surgeon healing requirement unless the current game explicitly counts it.
Verify the unlock
Open the official Soldier’s Grace badge page or your Roblox badge inventory after completing the requirements. Then reopen class selection and check the Specialist section for Chaplain. If the badge is present but the class has not appeared, leave and rejoin a public server before assuming progress was lost.
The official description names Chaplain and the Cross Necklace as rewards. It does not promise retroactive UI counters or an exact delivery delay. Record the visible badge award and current server version when troubleshooting.
Learn Chaplain before selecting it
Chaplain is a support class. Blessing reduces infection but does not restore ordinary health. Crucifix controls many undead and creates a rescue window, but current community documentation identifies Bombers as an exception. Do not replace the team’s only Surgeon and then expect Blessing to fill the health role.
Stay near the players who need infection support, keep a safe escape path, and use the Crucifix when the control window will let the formation rescue, reload, repair, or move. Chaplain’s value is measured in prevented collapses rather than kills.
Common unlock mistakes
- Counting any Runner kill instead of a Runner actively pinning a teammate.
- Completing San Sebastián but not operating the sacrifice winch.
- Taking the winch without ensuring at least one teammate can escape.
- Using another class’s support action and assuming it counts as Surgeon healing.
- Stopping at exactly 50 heals when the official wording says more than 50.
- Looking only at an unofficial counter instead of confirming the Roblox badge.
