Maps in Guts & Blackpowder are designed around different team problems. Objective campaigns move through a fixed sequence of tasks and holdouts. Endless maps turn a position into a wave-defense test. Holdout maps combine defense with a construction, zone, or escape goal. Seasonal Boss maps can use a completely different route and item loop. Choose a walkthrough by mode and objective, not only by historical location.

Route rule: when a new prompt appears, protect the player who is carrying, pushing, cranking, building, or interacting. A map is rarely won by putting every survivor on the objective at once.

Map Dex by mode

The current community map index documents Objective campaigns including Vardøhus Fortress, San Sebastián, Leipzig, Copenhagen, Kaub, Roscoff, Catacombes de Paris, London, Westminster, and Moss Ironworks, with seasonal or private variants clearly separated. The official Roblox badge API independently confirms many of these entities through one-life completion badges, including Cold Front, Forlorn Hope, Explosive Retreat, Deliverance from the Catacombs, The Great Wen, How Stands The Bridge Around, Don’t Give Up the Ship, and Forged In Fire.

Endless uses defensible locations such as Hougoumont, La Haye Sainte, La ferme d’En-Haut, Tyrolean Village, and other current or private-server variants. Holdout includes Berezina, Saint Petersburg, and Trafalgar House. The official badge descriptions confirm that Saint Petersburg asks players to survive all 10 waves, while Trafalgar House has a six-wave survival badge and a separate four-zone protection badge.

Seasonal maps require a live availability check. Transylvania is tied to a Boss encounter and official event badges, but a badge remaining enabled in Roblox does not guarantee the map is selectable every day. Use the in-game vote or event interface as the final availability source.

Read an Objective map before activating it

Objective prompts appear in a fixed order. On PC, C can show the current objective again and highlight relevant items in supported situations. The team should read the prompt, locate the interaction, identify likely spawn routes, and prepare support before anyone completes the trigger.

Many campaigns contain a point where progress changes the battlefield: a gate opens, a wall explodes, a holdout begins, or dead players become eligible to respawn. Stop for a few seconds before these transitions. Reload firearms, heal injured players, repair structures, and make sure the slowest survivor has reached the group. A fast activation can strand the exact roles needed for the next section.

Assign route jobs

Use three simple jobs. Objective players manipulate the item or mechanism. Lane players watch the directions zombies can enter. Float players rescue anyone pinned, replace a lane that collapses, and carry secondary objects. These jobs can change every stage, but naming them prevents all players from staring at the same crank or cart.

Sapper placement should preserve movement. A barricade is useful only if the team can still reach the next prompt and retreat from a Bomber or Cuirassier charge. Surgeons need a recovery pocket away from the spawn line. Musicians and Chaplains need protection because their value comes from staying active near teammates rather than chasing isolated enemies.

Plan for one-life badges

Many official badges require completing a named map in Objective mode in one life. A respawn may still allow the team to finish and earn ordinary completion rewards, but it can invalidate the personal one-life condition. Start the run from the beginning, avoid optional risks, and tell the team which players are protecting a badge attempt.

Do not confuse a team victory with a personal badge requirement. San Sebastián’s Vos Enterrement belongs to the player who lowers the platform using the winch so the team can escape, while Forlorn Hope is the one-life map completion. Moss Ironworks’ Counter-Battery Fire is a deliberate hazard badge for being hit by the recoiling cannon cart; it should not be mixed into a no-death attempt.

Build a map-learning route

First run: follow the group and learn the prompt order. Second run: volunteer for one objective interaction so you learn where the item starts and ends. Third run: play a support role and watch the spawn angles. After that, attempt a one-life completion or a specialized badge. This progression is faster than trying to memorize every room from a written list without seeing the transitions.

When a map has a long finale, reserve consumables and mental attention for it. San Sebastián ends with platform and beach holdouts. Moss Ironworks ends with repeated foundry work and a raft escape. Transylvania changes from item search to armored combat and a boss finish. Spending every grenade or team ability early can leave no recovery tool for the sequence that actually decides the run.

Common map mistakes

  • Triggering a holdout before firearms are loaded and the Sapper finishes the line.
  • Leaving an objective carrier without a rear guard.
  • Standing beside explosive barrels or a cannon-cart path after the warning prompt.
  • Building across the route the team must use next.
  • Treating deep or moving water as safe terrain without confirming the map rule.
  • Assuming a seasonal map is available because its badge page still exists.
  • Leaving a one-life player behind at a transition or forcing them to take the sacrifice role.

Map facts and verification labels

Official badge descriptions are used for map names, mode labels, named win conditions, and unlocks. Detailed room order and interaction steps come from current community documentation checked October 30, 2026 and are labeled as community corroborated where multiple guides agree. Exact timers, checkpoint radii, enemy counts, Franc rewards, and event windows can change and should be confirmed in the current client.

The map cards use mode, objective style, badge, availability, verification date, and direct guide route. Unknown numerical fields are left out rather than filled with guesses. This keeps the Dex useful on both desktop and narrow mobile screens without a horizontally scrolling table.

Choose your next route

If you are learning cooperation, start with the Objective mode guide and then read the walkthrough for the map shown in the vote. If you are practicing special enemies, use Endless mode and the Enemies hub. If your goal is an official achievement, open the Badges hub first so the personal requirement is clear before the round starts.
